JOINING SWDG

Subscriptions are collected annually and are payable by January 31^st. You have to be a paid-up club member before you can participate in it’s clinics and competitions unless they are open to non-members.

Clinic are subsidised by membership fees and other fund - raising activities run by the club. Members can join as Junior members in the year of their twelfth birthday to the year of their seventeenth birthday. Your club subscription entitles you to discounts on entry fees and other subscriptions, to four free copies of The Rider magazine per year, access to lower horse insurance rates, personal insurance at all club activities and discounts at local saddlers and feed merchants.

The subscription form and questionnaire (downloadable here) are essential sources of information for club officials. By completing them in as much detail as possible, you will aid us in putting on a programme geared to what you want/need. We are constantly looking for people to help at events as stewards, judges, scorers, jump judges, etc. Please help us, even if it is only once or twice a year. Also we want everyone to participate in teams…we have teams at all levels and great team spirit at outside events.

SUBSCRIPTION RATES
Riding member (Junior or Senior)        £25.00 per year
Non-Riding Member                           £15.00 per year
Joining fee for new members                £ 5.00

For all new members there is a joining fee of £5.00 which must be added to your subscription making it a total of either £30.00 or £20.00 Cheques should be made payable to SWDG please and sent with the subscription form and questionnaire to the Secretary. It is possible to pay your subscription by Standing Order after the first year of membership.

If you have any queries, please phone the Secretary. Once your subscription is received you will be sent the full club programme, membership card, club constitution and other paperwork.
